Jamie L. Salvetti

Jamie L. Salvetti was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations with a Minor in Business from The Pennsylvania State University in May 2001. Ms. Salvetti earned her Juris Doctor Degree in June 2004 from the Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Ms. Salvetti gained experience in immigration law during law school by working as a summer clerk at Robert Lubin and Associates, P.C. While attending law school, she also worked as a legal extern at the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County. Ms. Salvetti further enriched her immigration experience, during law school and after admission to the Bar, at the law firm of Mark Goldstein and Associates, LLC in Pittsburgh, prior to joining Robert Lubin and Associates, P.C. as an attorney in 2005. In 2013, Ms. Salvetti became a Partner in the firm prompting the name change to Lubin Salvetti & Associates, PLLC.

Ms. Salvetti represents both employers and individuals seeking counsel on a wide range of employment and individually based immigration matters. Ms. Salvetti’s practice focuses on business immigration matters, with a particular emphasis on the healthcare sector. She has successfully represented countless clients, including renowned physicians and medical researchers, athletes, entertainers, artists, business executives, and major universities and hospitals. She specializes in J-1 waivers, extraordinary ability petitions, national interest waivers, H-1B & O-1 petitions and applications for permanent employment certification (PERM). Ms. Salvetti also handles family-based petitions and applications for permanent residency and naturalization.

Ms. Salvetti is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) as well as the International Medical Graduate (IMG) Taskforce. She limits her practice to federal immigration matters and is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania (2004).

Emma Sutherland is the Managing Attorney at The Salvetti Law Group, PLLC. She represents clients in non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions before the Department of Labor, Department of State, and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. In particular, Emma focuses her practice on business and employment immigration matters.

A native of Alexandria, Virginia, Emma completed her undergraduate studies in Political Science at James Madison University, located in Harrisonburg, Virginia, in 2008. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree with honors from George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia. During law school, she clerked for the Department of Justice, Immigration Litigation Division, as well as for two private immigration firms, including Maggio + Kattar and Carliner and Remes.

Prior to joining The Salvetti Law Group, PLLC., Emma worked as an Associate Attorney for Tievsky Immigration Law, based in Reston, Virginia, where her practice focused solely on business immigration matters.

Emma is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Fairfax Bar Association, and the Virginia Bar Association, and is admitted to practice law in Virginia (2013).

Caroline Phillips is an Attorney with The Salvetti Law Group, PLLC. Caroline has experience in numerous aspects of employment-based immigration law and currently focuses her practice on EB-1, NIW and O-1 petitions as well as Naturalization.

During law school, Caroline served in the Student Bar Association as the first Director of Mental Health services, and was featured on Legal Talk Network's ABA Law Student Podcast “Maintaining Mental Health at Law School.” She also served as the Treasurer of the Family Law Society and as a Dean's Fellow for the Office of Student Affairs. Caroline devoted many hours of her time volunteering at the DC Superior Court Family Law Self Help Center, which earned her a Pro Bono Honors Graduate distinction.

Caroline holds a Juris Doctorate from American University Washington College of Law (2020), and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Mount Vernon Nazarene University (2015). She is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia (2021).

Hope E. Damico is an Associate Attorney with The Salvetti Law Group, PLLC. Ms. Damico was born in Richmond, Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a Minor in Italian Studies and Philosophy from Virginia Commonwealth University. She studied at the American University of Rome during the fall 2017 semester which inspired her to go to law school. Ms. Damico earned her Juris Doctor Degree in June 2022 from George Mason Law School in Arlington, Virginia.

While in Law School, Ms. Damico was the President of the Immigration Law Society, Vice President of the Women’s Law Society, and Senior Articles Editor of the International Law Journal. As the President of Immigration Law Society, Ms. Damico hosted naturalization clinics to aid the residents of Northern Virginia with their N-400 applications. In addition, Ms. Damico held internships at the Court of Appeals of Virginia and various immigration law firms based in Northern Virginia. Ms. Damico started her career in employment-based immigration in 2021 while at Erickson Immigration Group based in Arlington, Virginia, primarily focusing on PERM.

Ms. Damico continues to focus her practice on business and employment immigration matters, aiding clients with both non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions. Ms. Damico was admitted to practice law in Virginia in December 2022.
